I once had close on 400 metres of kites before I sold most of it in 2010 in my first ever garage clear-out sale after accumulating stuff since 97. A few things still left over from that sale include a -

4.7 Libre Spirit,
2.5 & 3.7 Libre Bora II,
Flexifoil Blade 4.9, 6.4, 7.8 & 8.5, The 7.8 is the famous one only K48 Chris Calthrop version. Oh yeah. :)
Couple of super 10s & a Martin Lester Canada Goose.

The following kites were all eaten by mice and continue to be eaten by mice include a lovely and rare 10.2 cooper ultra light which I gave away just last week. A Hadlow Pro 11m, Slingshot fuel 15m (eaten all but the LE) , a Venom II 16m (which I also gave away after discovering a hole in it so large that you could climb through it)

Some LEI kites I still have laying around and in good flying condition - North Rhino 10m, Flexi ION 10.5 + Genetrix Hydra V5 7m (my main assault weapon) Fuel 7m, 9m & 11m

LEI kites in a continuous state of repair - Cab xbow 7m, 11m & 13m, Fuel 13m, Flexi ION 8.5 < I loved that kite

Kites coming soon - Either a 5m Core, a 5m Proton or a 5m Waroo and a 2.5m Ozone Uno just because it's the cutest LEI I've ever seen.

And I wonder where all my money goes! :dunno:

Honestly....I don't list kites because it screws up things for people when they want to search the forum for reviews.

How did mice eat your kites and why are you letting them continue to eat you kites!?!?!?!

I'm glad you gave them away before the evil little varmits could do more damage. The fuel sounds like it's wreched, whats the conditon of the Hadlow Pro? You should give that one away to before it gets wreched too.

What Sam said  Google gives lots of hits on people's sigs...

Let's see, what do I have left...

Rev 1.5, Shockwave, PowerBlast 4-8
Viper 1.8, Cult 3.5, Rebble 5, Core 6.7
Flysurfer Speed 3 12, 15 DLX, 21, Psycho4 19
Core GT 7, Cabrinha Crossbow 10, 13, 16
... and when the factory gets done making bars, Ocean Rodeo Flite 17.5

I should probably sell the fixed bridles... they never get used these days :(

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

I thought you'd like mice being a snake :D

I live out in the sticks and a one time farm. We have little field mice that love to chew up kites to make a warm soft nest.

I should explain that all my gear is kept outdoors in the barn.
I bought some large outdoor plastic containers for the kites but somehow they still managed to get in. All I did there was to provided them with the perfect living accommodation.

I was gutted about the 10.2 cooper UL. I had the guy coming around that afternoon to buy it from me, so I thought I'd better check it out before he arrived. I saw a small nibble hole in the bag and my heart sank. Sure enough the kite had holes in the size of dinner plates.

Dang, I'd build a solid wood crate, or get one of those steel job boxes or maybe hang them from the ceiling or something. You really need a few cats too. If you do the box, you can line any gap at the lid with steel wool. They won't chew it.

I took my kites out of my sig when I saw a google search for anything I had, put me on page 1 of the search results multiple times. Yeah I've posted a few times. :embarrased:

HQ Montana VII 7m and 9m
HQ Apex III 7.5m
HQ Beamer 2 and 3m
HQ Toxic 4 and 5m.
HQ Prodigy 3.4m

PL Phantom II 6-9-12m
PL Vapor 2.7 4.5 5.4m
PL Synergy 19m
PL Venom 13m
PL F Arc 1200

PKD Buster 1.4m 3m

I was thinking I had my quiver down kind of lean till I typed all that out.

What's the matter Snake? You got a cold? (cough)

Man, Red's got me all freaked out about kites that I have sitting in places where mice might get to them now.
