Video challenge...360 degrees with a depower kite?

So, I was feeling adventurous today and the wind was so light I had to try it...

I did a "sloppy" 360 rotation around myself with 14M Neo II...

It's SLOPPY....but there's a full 360 there...

https://vimeo.com/58807774

I've been able to to my fixed bridles before but this was a good challenge.

Anyone else 360 thier depower kite before? Got video?
Post it if you got it!!

Steve

Looks like hard work. I think that would have killed me. I've got a video of a 360 deadmans turn with the 15m fuel (terrible footage) but your 360 is a true 360 without the initial downloop. I don't think it would be possible in the buggy ?

I'm going to take you up on your challenge Sir next time I'm down the beach. :)

Now up the challenge to circle the other direction also! a twofer!

Did you kids learn anything about what apparent wind can do here?:wow:
spin it round:wee: and add a body cartwheel:roll: as you run for extra points..but don't break your leg.

I guess this is a light wind move only- With my luck the kite would powerup at the halfway point reverse bowtie and I will be doing a Superman for 50 feet!

Snake- care to expand on the foot deal?

Whoops, wrong kind of 360.:P The video wouldn't load last night and I thought Herb was talking about a jump with a 360 in it. How I broke my foot? I did a little 3 foot jump with a spin and my foot folded backwards on the landing and broke the third metatarsal in my right foot. I haven't tried it again since. I have tried a heli loop, if the counts as 360° depower rotation, though I was nowhere close to landing it.

Haven't done it with a depower yet but I have done it with a buggy. I have seen someone do it on a buggy so I know its possible with a depower.

Recently I've been wondering about completing this on a snowboard. It should be possible if the application is done right. I'm thinking starting on a hill for speed. Tricky but possible. Guess my first try will be in skyline next week.

Once again my memory fails me. Guess that's what friends are for. Bobby just reminded me that I did a 360 with a 24m Phantom 2 with 60m lines!
