a quick google of "pendulum jump power kite"
leads right to this forum=>

which contains this nugget:

Which helped me get the basics down after about 8 months of flying. I'm at my one year anniversary now and I have a question.
It has to do with keeping tension on the lines all the way back to the ground. you see I feel good sending the kite back across the window and
pulling in on the bar to get some lift as it heads up to the zenith. spotting the landing usually goes alright too now.
but after I land, sometimes I seem to have swung in under the kite and the lines are slack sending it floating down into the window again.
so how does one counter down wind drift and a post landing luff while jumping?
