Been offered a Summer job as......
.... a trainee kite / buggy instructor :D
I was in the local kite shop today chatting about some of the things I have for sale. Neil, the guy who owns it, offered me the job for when he gets
busy over summer helping him with kite / buggy lessons.
TBH I'm not sure how serious he was about it, although we've chatted a fair bit he's never even seen me fly or ride a buggy, and I'd be surprised if I
was good enough to teach paying customers.
However, if I get paid for flying a couple of times a month for a couple of months, it cant be a bad thing!

If is sounds too good too be true ...
I am pretty sure that in Britain folks that teach a get licensed / insured to do so by BKSA ? I would be asking for PROOF you are insured before you
get involved in anything that represents itself as a formal lesson.
The only way I would do this here in Canada was if the shop owner was selling the gear and my service was not so much a formal lesson as the shop
giving proper instruction on what they sold. We don't have an instructors course for land kiting here yet so getting insurance to teach is out of
reach !
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Kober- I already have a mental list And it's pretty long.. Lol.
BR- I think that's probably true. I recently got insurance with the SPKA (Scottish) Its pretty much the same, I've got third party, up to £5mil, for
all kite activities. I think I will soon get a certificate / stickers to put on my Bug.
The shop that i was in offers the same, about half an hours tuition with purchases over a certain amount. As well as that you can buy lessons for most
land based activities. (There is a water sports shop a few miles down the road too, but I've never been in the water, and i think they're more
professional if I'm honest...)
I wouldn't be doing an instructors course, or anything like that..
