ME TOO, ME TOO,.... NEW PB!!!!

Knkmanthey and I met pokitetrash at OOBE field today for some flight time.

Kevin was able to try out his first ARC the 12m Vortex which he bought from Scott (flyguy ???) The wind was not super cooperative for the ARCbut with Chris's help and guidance, he was able to get it in the air a bit and get a good feel for it.

And during one of my runs on the far end of the field I felt a gust come up and put my 6.8m Viper s right in the right spot and put my old PB in the past by 5mph with a new PB of 22.8 mph.

I can't tell you how crazy it felt to go that speed over the bumpy grass with my butt about 2 inches off the ground. And my new VTT Stinger- XR hybrid rode really sweet.

All around it was a good day.

Awesome job man! I nearly doubled my PB at Ivanpah so I know what you mean. Hoping to bump it up a little before we leave, but we'll see.

Trust me there will be more pbs! I remember every one I've had. Just to give you some incentive, I set my first recorded pb at oobe field at 25.2 with a 5m crossfire II. I felt like I was about to take off .

Fences and horses asses come up really fast on OOBE field. I've often fealt I could go faster but the illusion of being almost instantly on top of a fence keeps me driving like an old man out there. Good for you Soliver! Good to see you guys out there. One of the best sessions I've had out there in a long time even thought the wind died too soon.

Not my PB but i hit 19.7 mph yesterday in a soccer field - only had a 100 yds before turning- was really getting the hang of keeping the speed and energy through the turns- only problem was kept getting really dizzy:lol:

I also doubled my PB and decided that since the surfaces are sooo different that I needed to "maintain" a grass PB and an overall one. My grass number is 34.5 kph With a Viper 6.8 (and a line snap with OBE) and as of the 2013 SBBBR 76.5 kph with a 6m NPW9. Now to get to 40 and 80 respectively.

Would you be able to stick mine on there Carlos ? (30.9mph, there's a thread by me with a gps pic in this forum, just a few down)

TBH I probably wont be beating it for while, otherwise I wouldn't ask.

Cheers,
Tim
