Winds are east @ 5-10 should pick up a little bit later. Big kite day today. Low tide is around 3-4pm @ the oceanfront. I will get there around 1pm. Come fly some kites w/ me.

Well, it took a while ,but the wind finally showed up. Nothing great,but rideable. It was SE,so upwind was a slow tow. But the downwind was nice. I even carved up the beach on the TRAMPA. Man,I love that board.
There were quite a few people out there. It wont be long now,and we will be done at Va Beach until Oct. Today was quite possibly,the last rideable day of the season.

Spent all day on the tiller getting ready to plant my seeds and veggies for the garden. I can assure you I would have been much happier there today.

Those Flexis are gonna be your goto kites in the winter That 1.8 rage in 30+ ,is a dynamo. But you gotta have skills,cause it is fast in the window. You gotta work it ! When you fly some of my PKDs , you and Jeff are gonna become real good friends....
I'm sore from kiting,must find beer, and look at video from today. It wasn't all that though,so it prolly will be lame. I should have taken my wife,to drive the truck.Then I could have done downwinders all day.
