Cheesey is my new best friend ! A friend in need , is a friend indeed .
:singing:
I was told you are the most welcoming group I guy can meet and it couldn't be more true !
Dan, that buggy made the event for me and I can't thank you enough ! I haven't had so much fun sitting down since I started the sport !
The place is a ghost town. Jeff finally found a use for arcs. Used the spar to retrieve the keys to his truck and I'm alone in the hotel now. Alone
with a TON of great memories and hopefully some photos worth posting.
I have considered almost every person I met a friend for a long time. It's fantastic to have had the chance to meet face to face and ride with my GOOD
BUDDIES ! I am the lone rider on the " arc " side at home. Sharing with my fellow arcophiles was a dream come true. Mark and Ziggy, you shall always
remain my original hero's ! Always an honor to be skooled by you ! Finally hooked up with my fellow Canadians from Quebec !
Rich,
YOU ROCK! NAPKA is going to become the best thing that has happened to the kite community under your guidance !
Thanks to EVERYBODY for making this the BEST kite trip I've had ! Smooth winds to you all !
:cool2: :cool2:
Oh yes, Uncle Richie and everybody who worked so hard on the awesome spread. THANKS SO MUCH !

A great event it was! My top moments were the awesome winds on Wed. sharing the beach with Rian, Nick, Chad and Joe ripping it up in the 20+ mph on
shore winds! Great runs. Finally meeting Mark, Jeff, and Ken were also highlights for me. It is nice to finally put a face to the names! Great wisdom
shared from each.
I appreciate all the compliments, I just organize the event, ALL of you make the event what it is. Like I said at the BBQ, This was the best event
yet, until the next event when it will become the best event yet! Each event has it's special moments! This one was no different. From standing back
watching everyone enjoy the beach to the stories each night, especially the story about Konrad and his brother! The wicked winds on Wed. to the
challenging winds both Friday and Saturday. The BBQ is always a highlite! This one was no different! Lots of laughs, lots of great food and lots of
good times shared with our kite family!
Each one of you are equally responsible for making this event one of the greatest events out there. The family atmosphere, the rib jabs that are given
and recieved! The quality of skills on the beach. The friendships that become tighter each time we get together. I truly call you guys family, and I
thank you all for making this what it is, and share in making some of the best memories we can have!
Till October! Ride on!

I have to agree too.... I have never ever left a WildWood event where I didn't have a #@%$#! eating grin on my face constantly till I got home. Then I
had to tell all the stories to my wife and kids.
A BIG THANK YOU and some memories that hit home why this is so special..........
*Rich for countless hours organizing the event....and helping me out with my wheel ( I will be in touch to replace)
*The pig roast....thanks for trucking up the grill and making our feast/party that much better
*BuggyDanny for always helping me out with questions ( you and Claude are two I look up to...to become a better pilot/rider)
*Nice to see Dave's wife kicked him out of the house and he was able to make it...you made me smile just watching you fly a kite...Hang in their, I
know you will get better and be rockin with us in the fall. Also the life saving axle bolt :D
*Getting to hang out with a great friend that I met through this sport and event...(you know who you are)
*Meeting new people and seeing all the ones you've made friends with over the years
I know this will be hard for some of you to believe, but I'm smiling right now just thinking about it.

I can tell how much fun I had by how little I have in the way of photos - at the end of every day remembering that i have a ton of camera gear in the
bags but doing too much riding and flying to pull them out. I did throw a GoPro on Fiona's helmet and told her to look at each buggier as we rode
tandem I'll see what i have there.
It was a blast getting back to Wildwood, it's been too long and I good to see a handful of old friends and meeting many more. Great crew and I can't
say enough about how much Fiona and i enjoyed it. I hesitate to list names because I'll miss many because not only the people involved in organizing
and cooking and making it easy for us, but also all the smaller sharing moments and laughs - everyone deserves a pat on the back.
We also had a great time going out for meals and doing some shopping - from the owners and staff of the Shalimar to every restaurant and shop we were
in - all friendly and extremely helpful.
I took far too much gear (but you never know) and I brought home way too much sand but it does give me a good start on building Wildwood north here in
Cambridge Ontario. Looking forward to getting back and hanging out and doing some riding with everyone again

I had a blast every day. Some of the days were low wind but it gave me a chance to really get the most out of my kites. I've just moved to fixed
bridle and made it all the way to the north as far as I could go on a Flow 5M one day and then went almost to the furthest southern point on my
Charger 15. I worked the snot out of both kites and had a great time.
A special thanks to Howard's son who noticed a rip in my Twister. I mentioned the problem when we were all hanging around the hotel and all of the
sudden the kites spread out and a group of mad scientists are poking, prodding and discussing how to fix it. Jeff (BigKid), Ziggy, Paul
(Doublespeed360), Rich, Ryan and others got color matching sail tape (cause my black tape would just stand out too much) and fixed it good as new.
THANKS TO YOU ALL.

I was going through some of the movies and pictures from WW and one of the things I did was ask most everyone, their name while videoing them. Boy did
I miss a lot of you guys. And I miss you all.
The first days of freezing cold weather to the end with t-shirts and sunburns, 2m wind to 12.5m wind with runs up and down the beach, hardly moving to
40mph plus rides from one end of the beach to the other end.
Trying to understand the Eastern terminology, to the whole pig BBQ, I was one person who felt the warmth of a bunch of people I didnt know. I came out
of my room and a guy from across the pool yelled at me saying "Hey Jeff, How was the drive?" My first thought was, Who the heck is this guy, and how
does he know who I am? I yelled back something about something, now thinking, Who is this guy? Well I have to say Mark(markite, and his lovely from
across the pond, Fiona, were as typical as the rest of the fine fine people at WW.
From welcoming me with chit-chat, to helping to carry the buggy and stuff up and down the walkway to the beach, to talking me out for dinner, to
thanking me for coming to the event, to asking me where I am off to next and then saying"see you there", to the great food and great time, I will miss
this place and these people.
When I read a post now I can put a face on the forum name and think to myself, this doesn't sound like the guy at WW, then I laugh and tell myself, Oh
Yes It Does.
Great people, great food, great beach, great place, great time. You all put on one great event. I will definitely come back, as for the
drive...........that I will not miss, I didnt care for my own company. next time I
will bring Levi.
