Charleston SC

I am heading to Charleston for a week this Sunday:smilegrin: We have a house rented at the Isle of Palms and was wondering what the beaches are like for static flying. Do the frown on power kites? I have been waiting a year to get some decent wind for my 3&5 meter beamers.

tridude would know details best . the crowds would be the limiting factor. the have gotten more restrictive which may only be the water launch sight spot and riding in close at SI at 28.5.
