Handles will always give you more control with a fixed power kite, The only time you'd go to a bar is if your on a ATB and want a free hand to pull
grabs and such.
For bigger kites on a bar, it may be worth trying a crossover kit. I've just fitted one with my 9m Buster, now flying it on a 45cm bar and have no
problem looping the kite even in light winds, so stable and smooth this way. I've got mine set up so it's close to 2 to 1 ratio. 2" of brake line
comes in for every 1 inch of flying line with a little slack on the brakes. So you can do fine turns without touching the brakes, as soon as you start
to really move the bar the brakes cut in.
