-Not kiting- Playing with time lapse. Sunset at my local beach.

Thought I'd share my latest creation !
I've been wanting something I can test my camera's time lapse function with as well as the egg timer mount I made, so when I noticed the nice sunset yesterday I drove down to the beach near to me, and made this quick video.

(Plus I love The Cinematic Orcestra and have been wanting an excuse to use their music, I don't think it would suit having it in a buggy video..)

Stick it in full screen, and HD. Enjoy :)

I was always wondering how people do those time-lapse shots with the camera moving slowly. Now I know that it's all done with an egg-timer mount! :D

Very beautiful and well-done.

Time Lapse from my GoPro, and yes I've done egg-timers too, works great.

It's really easy to do timelapse on a GoPro, or even any point and shoot camera, where you shoot jpg images every 2 seconds, or .5 seconds, or 1-2 minute intervals, then download those into free Windows Live Moviemaker.

Remember that for smooth playback, you need 30 frames (jpgs) per second of playback...........so for example a 10 second video, will encompass 300 still photos and so on.

This fog scene was about 6-7 hours in filming, watch the shadow from the bridge/sun move over the water as it rises from low to high tide.
