kite jumping

Hi,
I jump since 3 years with flexi Blades 8.5 and 10.5. I tried all versions II, III IV and V, so I think I know well these kites.
But I wondered if there are other good kites for jumping...

Have you tested other brands like pansh, PKD, Peter Lynn, HQ, libre, ....?? What are your impressions compare to the blade?

thx!

Peter Lynn:
- Reactor II 3.5mē
- Peel 5mē
Flexifoil Blade III 6.6, 8.5 and 10.5

The blade does seem to hold the crown as the "jumpiest" FB. Though peter lynn seems to be gearing up to claim that title soon with their yet to be released "Voltage". Time will tell.

Depowerable kites tend to have much better jumping characteristics than any fixed bridle kite. The Blades are one of the best for fixed bridle kites. If you are looking for the next step up from the Blade, I would suggest something like the Ozone Frenzy, HQ Montana or the new PL Lynx.

I just get the feeling that sebonze will never hook in, he just seems to prefer dangling 15' in the air from his straps! :o

I'm probably going to get bashed for saying this, but....

If you want to do huge jumps but don't want to go with a depower set up with a harness, you an fly a Peter Lynn arc on handles. Peter Lynn only recommended it on s-arcs and f-arcs. F-arcs are very much like a fixed bridle with 50% depower when needed. My 1200 jumps crazy high and is super floaty. I have never tried the kite on handles but I'm guessing it would be really fun, and dangerous. You would have to have a special flagging system too.

Have fun!

Arcs - Charger I 8m, 10m, 12m, Venom I 13m - F-Arc 1200, 1600
Single Skin - Born-Kite LongStar2
Fixed Bridles - Pansh Legend 4.5m - Peter Lynn Voltage 3m
