I love that video. I think all newcomers should watch that to make them have a better attitude toward helping someone else out.
Back in the day, it was all so raw, that we were like a team! You just helped each other out. Now I go to popular kite spots and it's like nobody even
talks to each other. Everybody seems so caught up in how cool they are that we've lost something good.

I always admired how Flash Austin figured things out all on his own in Florida with an old Flexifoil and skim board. Went to Hawaii and blew Robbie
Naish away ! Never left ! 
It's true that the spirit has changed on popular beaches. I am glad that land kiting remains small and we hold on to that sense of sharing. I would
hate to lose that.

Kiters are the only total strangers I feel happy walking up to and starting a conversation like they are already friends. I have not really
encountered anyone who has thought they were "too cool" to talk to me or to wander up and say hello themselves.
Everyone I have met kiting has been friendly and willing to help so i'm always that way too. Share the stoke :D
