Beamer 2 vs Beamer TSR
What is the difference between the Beamer 2 and the Beamer TSR. Besides the bar and the different graphics.

Not much of a difference other then what you noted. The bridal on the TSR is rigged slightly different then the beamer to make turning, etc. quicker
when using the bar. I'm not sure how the TSR would work with handles though.
The regular Beamer can be used with handles, and I'm sure that you can fly with a bar as well. However, the turning may be a bit more cumbersome then
it is on the TSR. HQ modified the bridal on the TSR to better accomidate use of a bar and making the kite be able to turn quicker then the regular
beamer will on a bar. It is pretty much preferences over the choice of whether you prefer to fly with a bar or handles. Either way you go they're
both great kites.
From reading you other thread, I'd personally recommend going with the Beamer and not the TSR, as it will get you better aquainted with how 4 line
kites fly and you'll have more control with the handles. Bars are nice for using with landboards, and such..but you give up some of your kite
control in the process. When Ive flown the TSR it handles really good with turning, however, I still think it doesn't quite match up to the control
you have with handles.
Hope this helps some,
Joe

if you ever want to use the beamer on a bar, i recommend the TSR. The reason is that it is superior on a bar and performs as well on handles than the
Beamer II.

It looks like the aspect ratio is different on the two kites. Beamer 2 3:1 Beamer TSR 3:2. Any thoughts?
