El Mirage - Nov 7-9

Planning a midweek trip to El Mirage if the lake is still dry. Anybody planning on being out there? Also, is there a website that states whether the lake bed is open or not? Hate to drive all the way out there only to find out that it's closed.

I was out there for the last meet, and the lake was really dry still, I would love to go again, you can go to the wind wizard website and it has the links for el mirage on it, you can check the updates and see if it is still open....

keep us posted....

I am planning to go to El Mirage on December. Do they close the lake during winter time? or just whenever it is not accessible due to rain?

They're only closed when they're wet. Unfortunately, that's a pretty good portion of the winter. Sometimes they'll go out and just rope off the puddles and keep the lake open, but usually they just close the whole thing.
