I always wondered what an inflato-tube EZ-UP tent would look like. In other words, a tent with an LEI-like inflatable frame as opposed to a metal one.
Something that could fit lightweight in a backpack.
Of course, given the pricing trend on LEI's, I expect such a tent to cost at least $1500 or so.

that's a pretty good idea about the blow up tents. The compact/soft compression wouldn't have "poles" sticking everywhere, and can even be tucked away
inside a ruck-sack.
