Been a long time since I had a chance to sit and chat with my good friend Beamer Bob. Was in Vegas last week for work and stopped by and had a nice visit. As always Bob was very generous and loaned a couple of kites to a weary traveler and once again the wind did not cooperate. Bob in the days that followed was able to get out and hit around 52 mph while I was stuck working.

Hope it won't be so long until I am back for another visit. Even though the wind was not very cooperative it did feel good to try to get a FB airborne once again. It has been a long time.

Glad to see you check in goof, shame the wind didn't cooperate, but I'm sure it was a great visit with Bob. Hope you get some time out soon enough.

I love it when kite buddies come to town! Thanks for working me into the schedule. Maybe next time we can coincide our flying to go together. Keep me posted on future visits.

I had a newbie with me and was hoping to get him some air time.

He has a local friend pushing him towards an old 17m C kite.

I was directing him towards Adam's 16m Scorp but that is gone now. Maybe have him snap up one of those IKONS.

He has been flying a trainer in the 4m Scout class for about 6 months and wants to head out onto the snow this winter.

Took a while to "heal" in more ways than one from my NABX wipeout. Only have had the guts to fly on snow until this trip to Vegas.

It was nice to grab a FB but I still think I will hang onto my ARCS.

My friend will be back in Vegas in 2 weeks while I will be in Sacramento. I may have to look up Dino.
