I'm thinking we popped our cherry together in '09.

Lets see this fall will be the first one i havent attended since i started coming in 2007. I have even left in the middle of event to catch concerts in philly then drive back to kite. I left from an event to goto my bachleor party. I have enjoyed attending and watching it grow. I remember the people that made me enjoy and get involved in land kiting.
The reason i will no longer attend you ask? I was told i am no longer welcome. Last bash i had an issue with an attendie. I voiced my opinion to them about a personal attack that was made on my family by this person. Most did not even know it acured. I was discrete and did it to the side. But now i was told im not welcome at the bash. Well when it comes to family i will always pick them and will stand up strong when attacked. I always was there to help and never had a problem with anyone. Yet one instance where i was in the right and restrained myself to only words and a vetran to WBB is pushed out.
It is a shame that i will no longer attend, those of u i call my friends i will hope to see other venues, weather it be on the snow or in the water.

I am well aware of the U2U traffic that was exchanged in the spring on the matter. Please reread the U2U again and then post the truth of what was said. Further more quit posting for Greg... he's a big boy that is sorely missed at the bash.

I am also aware of what was exchanged, and if this person was not big enuff of a man to apologize then greg felt it would be best if he not come back. You responce was then greg is not welcome there anymore. You Todd know as well as anyone what transpired, least you could do is to back your friend up when we know the other guy was in the wrong. I guess family means more to some then others.
Further more greg is a big boy and would post on the matter. The problem is some on here arnt big enuff and choose to ban him. Its as simple as if u dont like what someone says just dont read it. Freedom of speach right. Obviously not here. And if greg feels the need to speak here through me im more than happy to. Hes the biggest reason i even started kiting and without his help would probably have not enjoyed this sport as much as i have.
And as before we will now drop the subject lest it be deleted.

I have been to 1, and a desire to make it 2

No idea , I'd have to check tee shirts and stickers to figure it out , 6-7-8 times? My best memory of the first one was teaching the kid CJ how to work my 7m depower and a voice rings out "watch out , coming thru" and like a sickle thru wheat , kites were mowed from the sky! I knew then that this was my kind of place.

I will change my number as I have been told my memory is worse than I thought. Sandy, TheKidd, and Cheesy all say it was spring of 2009 so now my number is 10 bashes. WOO-HOO what a strange trip it has been.

Then I was right on my first guess, it was 9, I have not missed one since.

Yeah we need to start group photo again. Only thing is the last few years Saturday winds have been such that everyone just wants to get in the buggy and roll! can't say I blame them!

Lets try and get the group photo back in. We may need a wide angle lens now

I can now say I have been to One now!!! Must say was a great weekend filled with a great bunch of people and will definitely return for another be it fall or spring.

Havent missed one since Oct '08... Just keeps getting better
