surf session with kite cam

My first attempt at kite cam footage of a surf session at Patricia Beach on Lake Winnipeg. This is a single 5 minute cut from a GoPro video. The other cuts were to correct the horizon and smooth out that transition.

Thanks. Someone brought to my attention how it looks like "Peter Pan chasing his kites shadow". :D :thumbup:

We do have some awesome spots to ride for both waves and flat water on our lake. Just wish we had trade winds to go with it.

The way it's framed and cut was quick and dirty, and the least nauseating way I found. I must figure out a way to mount the cam on to the strut so it's parallel to it and perpindicular to the LE so I get the full width of the frame. The cam needs a little more angle to put me a little closer to the center of the frame too.

Quite a cool perspective! Its a bit far away for extended viewing but mixed up with other footage its a winner. Can you post a pic of how the camera is mounted on the kite?

I just got a line hanger for my camera so I'm looking forward to trying that soon
