which harness spreader bar to get for fixed bridle
I've read several threads on harness's, spreader bars, and not to mention quick releases for fb using a strop. My plan is to get an ozone sb harness
to hook in while flying static and for landboard. I would like to get a standard spreader bar for use with a future depower, but will that work well
enough with a strop and handles? Or do I need to get a pulley. I'm not going to bother with a quick release, I will just unhook when I jump.

The ozone Turbo bar is by far the best choice for you. Otherwise, either a PL or HQ 4 line kite bar is fine. you can get an optional loop to hook
onto your loop with those. But nothing comes close to the Turbo Bar. Do your research.

Yes a standard hook will work, although as you state you will just unhook when you want to jump, that might not always be as easy as it may seem.
Having some sort of "safety" release is not a bad idea. If you use a standard hook, it will shorten the life of your strop, even if you use amsteel.

I don't see any safety system for handles with strop that can be utilized fast enough unless there is one that will work by just letting go of the
handles. I plan on using the harness for taking a break more than using it while riding or jumping so I'm not too worried about a safety.

I have a pulley and hook both, and I can use my hook for strop lines, but honestly I don't like to because of how difficult it is to fly with one
hand, which I do most of the time. With my pulley I can fly one handed all the time and the handles easily glide back and forth. There is nothing
really wrong with using a hook instead, although if the lines are under load you will probably have to keep pressure on the handles in order to turn
the kite easily. Or you could do as Mike recommended and pick up a Turbo Bar I
LOVE mine. It makes flying my 8m Toxic a dream.

FB hooked in with one hand... No problem for just cruising...
Just had the handles slightly uneven so the kite will naturally slowly head to the ground and just us the brakes on the top handle to correct as
needed.
Works best with 5 meter + kites and smooth wind. Smaller kites can get behind you in a hurry :o

I like my Turbo Bar better for one handed flying because I can control all four lines with one hand

I have the quick release set up that Jeff at Big Kid Kites set up with the witchard quick release, but I find that in my exceptionally lull heavy
winds, it is more of a hassle than anything else... Santa Clause just sent me a Bullet spreader bar via Big Mike :D
The closed system with quick release is probably great in steady winds, but I'm just not having a lot of luck... Excited to try something different.
I'm going to take a nap now
