I'm finally biting the bullet and getting a board. I'm thinking of buying a core 95. Is this a good first board? How much is a good price for it used? Thanks!

I am very pleased with my core 95 but learned on much heavier / stiffer boards so can't say if it is good . A local picked one up as his 1st board this summer. He seemed to progress well but I have lost track of him. It is a board you won't grow out of in any hurry.

Core has skate style trucks. It makes the board lighter but potentially a problem for very heavy people ?

Kober has one with a bag on here for $250 and that is a pretty good price. About what I paid for mine .
