definitely fun! no troubles on the snowboard, no lessons just straight to practice. second day really pushed it, added some speed and it really
made things come together. very much "on top" with lighter edging compared to traction stuff....but once i got off the "brakes" some phreedom phlow
showed up. despite mostly single digit temps, the cold did not seem to bother me. the snow here is truly champagne-like ! having a great time.
thanks for watching

It looks like your board skills made an easy transition. My next step was to commit to same foot forward with edge changing turns.

yesterday really got the big toeside carves and toeside power slides down with more confidence. biggest challenge for me was wiring "on top straight
balance" and adding light "feet only action" ..riding the lift up , which i do no like, i sponged a lot of riding technique from watching other
riders. a light touch, steady head up and some hip twisting action allowed me to manage medium speed and 180 hops in short order. lift tickets
are crazy $$$/day! but its nice. SO MUCH MORE to learn the large freestyle parts...sick fo sho !

Glad to see you join the incrowd. Looks like a great place to board.
I took 1 lesson and after 5 minutes the teacher took me up the hill and it was off down the triple Diamond runs. Fist pointing in the direction you
want to go, full body weight on downhill foot, steer with back foot. Made learning lightyears quicker.
I dont remember how it feels to ski anymore. Did youbring your RC to pull you around the lodge?

all resorts in CO are pretty pricey, but Breck($118/day) is a pretty huge complex of a couple mountains, so there is something for everyone. Was up
on Monday, and it was great snow despite being @11 deg f before windchill from winds 20-30 gusts to 50+ peak gust 85 mph.
I hope you keep having fun in the snow let's see some carving!
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

tuesday was premium dump. heavy winds first part of the week.
did peak 9 , 8 , 7 and bonus NEW#6 opening day! did it all by midweek ...the t-bar thing to the top was sketchy had to pass on that . #10 peak was
down some, so that never worked into rotation. #9 was the go to peak (for me) ride was fast and plenty roam not crowded as 7 lift flow fast as
well...the lift time stacks up. having a good time actually wrapped it up today. 6 days straight somewhere around 25+ hours , no injuries . and
1month out of a back strain so i'm stoked.
the pipe in the park looked cool, and ramps are huge!
beautiful spot with premium conditions ...best i can tell.

back on the island...fun trip definitely gained skill and experience. love that part! adding a kite ???in my mind i already have only lacking time
and place to realize it. a few tips from the freshly learned
-hillbilly pants ! on the first day esp. not so much the rest , but can't hurt!
-go with a local crew and guys with more skill to shadow
-chair lift therapy, before and after...somethings u never get used and can't let go
