Flysurfer Psycho4 19 $800 shipped
The fat-kid kite is up for grabs... too much overlap with my S3 21 (the fattest kid kite).
No rips, tears or repairs. The canopy is dusty and muddy in spots, but is actually in really nice condition... when you wash it :o Zip is good.
Bridle is good, replaced some lines that were a bit unsightly. Mixer just done too.
Lines are new, less than 20 hours on them. FDS end line is new, and I used a new line from Switch for the 5th... it's about 20cm too long but does the
job.
The bar is a bit crap... the grip has been dinged up some so I used that bar to test my DIY mod for unspinning... structurally sound but not pretty.
The unspinning mod is super good cos the CL/QR also has the thrust bearing mod so it's an effortless sheet in to unspin... but my suggestion would be
to get an infinity 2 bar anyway.
The bag is ok - zips work nice but a couple of seams could do with restitching...
I paid $1000 for it but did the lines, FDS, bar (such as it is) and some some bridle lines... I put another 30 hours on it, maybe.
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

This is a good kite! Don't completely write this kite off as just a fat guy flysurfer! I know it's not a speed... but I have the same kite and I'm
150 lbs and it works killer for me. I ride a 128 cm twin tip with it and I'm riding in roughly 8 knots, then at 10 knots I'm loving it. at 12 knots
I'm skying out and can barely hold it down.
great kite, with a great seller.

Yeah, I'm impressed with the low end for sure - had some good sessions when the 21 was down that I didn't think I'd get on the big tubes...
This was a day that I didn't expect to be able to ride at all!
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Mood: Where's the water?

Ugh...here I am saving up for a new water kite and you do this....tease...always been fascinated by the big Flysurfers....
(back to deep thoughts)...hmmm...
Wonder how much more projected area I would get between this and my 24M Phanny... (found it... 14.5 on Phanny - 16.2 on Psycho)...more thinking.....
THAT could actually make a difference in sub 12mph winds...hmmm

The 19m Psycho has more raw grunt than the Phanny 24m. Much lighter bar pressure. Phanny 24m goes upwind better, has a much MUCH broader wind range.
Turn rate on the Phantom is faster. Jumping is fairly similar but the Psycho is easier to redirect with the lighter bar pressure. Phantom beats the
Psycho on the gust factor.
I've never flown the 19m P4 in standard material so I'mnot sure how much it hinders the Psycho's performance.
Kami's right the bar is complete poo.

Better bar than what it came with :o couldn't even get the kite in the air, is was so badly set up :o I mostly like FS bars too.
Raw grunt is good :D
... this is a good excuse for me to knock up a movie in iMovie for a bit of fun...
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...
