2012 bar/lines on 2014 kite?

I have three 2012/13 Ozone Access kites. Does anyone know if I can use the bars and lines on a 2014 Ozone Access? The 2012 bars have the new fifth line flag line. Hate to buy another bar/lines when I have three ready to go. Is there an Ozone rep. on the PKF? Anyone had a chance to try the new redesigned
2014 Ozone Access?

You're fine with your current bar and lines. All the 5th line equipped kite/bar set ups are currently cross compatible.

One of our customers just bought a Frenzy UL 13m and had to buy it RTF because his 2010 bars wouldn't work with the new kite. You can remove the 5th line from the 2014 but if you can swing it, RTF is a better option. He loves his Frenzy UL BTW.

We have some 2014 Access kites due here for demo but we haven't been on them yet so no first hand feedback for you.

We list the Ozones we sell as RTF mostly because the we feel that more people are upgrading from pre-5th line Ozones or are buying for the first time which means either way you'll need a bar. But we also sell KO if needed, the customer just has to let us know.

You'll be able to save some $$ buying KO.:D

Not that I will own one anytime soon, but I like that they finally went to the push away CL safety. As ugly as the safety on my apex3 is... it feels so much more natural than the pre-'14 Megatron.

Email from Ozone Rep.

Email from Ozone Rep.

Thanks for the info. Feyd. I like the fifth line flag as it has helped me a few times when way over powered. Here is an email from the Ozone rep. about Ozone bars.

Hey Burt,
Thanks for the email. Your 2012 bar should be a 5-line setup and will work on the 2014 kites. The 2014 bars have a new push-away release system that people have been raving about this year. As far as reviews for the 2014 Access there should be a few out on the web, I think most of the folks that have bought them have been busy out riding and having fun :)

The Access has always been a winner. (as has the HQ Apex)

I like that they've gone to a push away safety, makes actuating either safety more intuitive.

Most of the people I know on the Access don't spend much time on the web or in forums. Actually most of the kiters I know have never been on a forum.

One of the local Access riders has already logged over 700 miles this season so yeah, not much time to write reviews. Heck he just recently started using email.
