Its been long time since I did previous video .... and my computer is full of footage that takes all that HD space , so I finally decided to get back to video making .
After one year editing software is making me confused again . I forgot what is what and where to look for it . I am sure I did spent twice amount of time to make this one comparing to what I did last year . I hope It will become familiar again soon .......

... Video is from my first snowkiting session this season . First snow started in morning and I was riding few hours later when ground was covered with 2" or so ....... on end of day I have about 6" to play with .
.... As I posted last month , my kite end up on tree and I receive help from kiter that was passing by accidentally and stop by when he notice my kite on tree ,,,, Kite was saved with only one bridle cut.
.... Surely ... this video is not showing any crazy action, but making videos was always something that I liked to do . Also those maybe will put smile on my face when I am in my 80s and looking back at my kiting days ......

Might thoughts exactly. That place was a minefield. Glad you rescued the kite. Looks liked it performed well.

Did you see that Gin no longer lists any foils as part of their current lineup :sniff: Let's hope they get things sorted and the Eskimo V or (Sherpa II) makes its way into next year's lineup.

I just read your December post. How did you fix the bridle in the field such that you could fly the kite for 2 more hours?

Good thing it was such a small tree too!... I remember your post from December when you told the story.

Kober- I like that, no doubt had a few trees but kudos to you for working around them- good skills- and yes eventually you loss but no harm. I recently landed on a roof, fortunately was able to get a ladder to me so i could get down. :o We are looking at 5" tonight sooo ready to get out tomorrow:D

Thanks for sharing Kober You have more guts than me to fly your kite around all those trees:o Tree ate my kite once, I try to stay far away from them now.

I was riding on open space for half a day .... and it was boring because wind was no good for jumps .... so I decided to go on small adventure thru the park ..... funny thing is that kite end up on tree after I start riding on open space again and miscalculate down loop when turning around ..... well ... that will not stop me from going thru the park again .... I love challenges ...

Gin is planning to release foil for next season ..... right now they are pushing hard to get Gin Cannibal out ... new freestyle open-C pump up .... I should have one next month or 2

.... Funny thing ... my GoPro line mount broke in half in mid air ... probably from freezing temperatures .... watch out ... also my memory card in camera stop working after 1/2h ... that is not ok .... there was so much today to film ....
