The clouds were pretty that day. Rather bizarre kite collapse at 2:00:o

The wind in your video has vortices mixed in with the gusts , most likely little vertical tornados coming thru , not a real lift component but something that will whack the backside of the kite and mess you up if you zoom on by and the kite lights up somewhat behind you. You look good for flying in crappy wind!

Yeah Denver is know for wacky wind, you kinda get used to it. Earlier in the day an 8 m flysurfer that I was trying out tossed me bad. Thanks All.:bird:

emir-loops generate power, and he most likely needed it, that's my best guess! Yes, you should try looping it in the direction you are wanting to travel to get some power going in that direction. Just be prepared for a strong pull!

propylne- good flying in our shifty winds! that park is tough in most wind directions. good job!

kober- we may have a bit more space than you but you have 100% higher chance of stable winds, every session here is very variable!

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

Emir,
I am fairly heavy 220 pounds aprox and riding in grass is like velcro. The downloop gets me moving and creating apparent wind, kinda like popping out of the water when waterskiing or kitesurfing. We can't fly heavily overpowered here due to the variability of the wind. Plus I like to go fast. :D
