Man Carl, you certainly have loads of talent! How on earth did you make the backpack pole mount? Any DIY plans out there? I would really be interested in making one.

Ill take a pick or draw a diagram in the morning. its was pretty easy really you just need a sturdy backpack, some pvc plumbing pipe and ducktape

I see a couple companies already make them. Look really nice, but the price tag is a little hard to swallow.

you need to make this frame first to fit as tight as possible inside the back of your back pack

cut a piece of pipe to 70cm then make the camera attachment
out of gopro bits


push the 18mm wooden dowl down the pipe and cut to length

next measure a piece of pipe from the bottom T connector to the top connector plus 10cm


next put your first pole in the top T connector and tilt the T back about 30 degrees. mark the angle on the bottom pole (top 10cm) then cut the pole on the angle
put the frame back in the backpack and make a hole where the top T is and make another hole about 5cm away for the other pole.
assemble the 2 poles making sure the top pole is square to the camera mount then ducktape them together
