Another video from sunny Australia

Over here the sun is still shining, we've been watching the news from the united states and the polar blasts you've been having, plus England having the wettest time in living memory. So here's yet another video of us enjoying lovely sunny days with the kites, just so you remeber what it was like when the weather was better. Hopefully there's something in there to bring a smile to your face

Thanks 3 shot and windy heap, I think the gopro thing is a local phenomenon for the Victorians, we took a total of at least 16 cameras of varying sorts ( that's about 3 each ) I never saw one on the south Australian crowd. They are fantastic little items although you do need someone as a dedicated photographer with a proper video camera to fill out the scenes...

Our buggy season is almost over, we have a long weekend in 2 1/2 weeks which is officially the last event here. We milked it for all it was worth this summer.

Cheers
Clive

That was so good Clive, thanks.
Please make more

I'm curious how close is that beautiful ocean to that big dry
lakebed?

That was Great. I was tapping my fingers on the desk watching that. Feel good times for sure.
I'm now looking forward to our summer here if such a thing is possible. The guy at 2:35 made me laugh. I guess that's the opposite of an OBE.

I commented on your last video and asked that you keep the videos coming. You did not disappoint.

Thanks again.....

The situation at Kingston is this, 4-5 km north is the kite beach, the one in town is too narrow, the kite beach runs some 12 km up to a bunch of rocks called the granites, there is access at both ends plus you can drive the beach in between, fortunately there's not many cars on it.
The dry lake is at the back of the dune area some 1-1.5 km from the ocean, roughly 12km from Kingston sort of closer to the granites end. It's surprising how lumpy the wind is only just away from the beach.the claypan was surprisingly grippy and I had mine on 2 wheels several times in the turns, although the narrow tyres had trouble in the wet stuff the bigfoots rode over the top without any problems. It was a mixed bag with weather and locations but we got some time in plus the social side too. The temp was consistent at about 25celcius each day,

Just to make you jealous, Saturday will be 23 Degrees Celsius with a nice 12 knot onshore wind, so heading off for a day at the beach, unlikely to be a video though.

Good luck with your weather wherever you are scattered around the globe...... Summer will return.

I love the bit from 2:30 on .

Not the smoothest buggy mount I have seen . Was that even his buggy he ends up heading off in?

Judging by his friends reaction, no.

This is what happens when you take your eye of the kite.
