I was asked to visit an Elementary School recently to give a talk about kites and how they work.
I brought in several types of kites (1 liners, power, NPW, etc.) to show the kids and I was able to fly a simple 1 liner Diamond kite in the
auditorium by walking backwards - the kids loved it!
It got me thinking about getting an indoor kite since I'll most likely do this again.
If you are doing indoor demonstrations on aerodynamics and want to freak out your audience, I heartily recommend looking into Tumble Wings and
Walkalong Gliders.

I have a buena vista feather and two prism 3ds but those aren't in production any longer. I love the feather. These are dual line kites. SUL flying
can be fun.

Falcon Aero Designs - New E-Mail Address and New Pockets for the Raptor
Douglas K. Stout
6/4/97
We at Falcon Aero Designs have just changed to a local provider.
Our new address is stoutfad@planet.net.
On another note, we have just redesigned our standoff pockets, which have been hooking the bridles during axels and half axels. Now we have a clean
trailing edge for the outer standoffs of our Raptor. From this point foward, our Raptors will have this modification. We are also in the process of
developing a Web Page.
Sincerely,
Doug Stout
