There's a lot of pro guys riding on land with LEI's, good pop and float. Problem is in the learning curve when you're driving the kite into the ground they don't do so hot, The LEI's also aren't that great in the unstable gusty inland winds.

If you have them though and are good at handling them, may as well use them.

Sysmic S1 Buggy.

0.7m / 1.4m / 2.0m PKD Buster I
4.4m PKD Buster
10m JoJo RM+

6m Flysurfer Outlaw
12m Ozone Access

Had a LEI and knowing the cost of the bladders I wasn't willing to tempt fate. One crash on dirt and you're out $90 or more. They're good on snow like snowbird stated, but other then that..not worth it. Foils for land, LEI's for water. If you want a kite inbetween that can do both, then there are the flysurfers and PL's that are options.
