My wait is over ... finally I was able to gather some $$$ for new ride ... and since I wait for this to happen for a very long time I got
something very special ... new shiny MG Supra ..
It is hard to describe how excited I was for few past days waiting for package to arrive and then unpacking and assembling this beauty .... It is
so bold, massive and shiny compering to all other buggies I have ever seen, details and quality is outstanding .... I think I am in love .....
Finally I will be able to go over 30mph without being afraid that I loose screw or two and buggy start disintegrating ( KiteTrike lol )...... I
will keep my old buggy for tandem set up and hope pulling it will be better then riding it since there will be less stress on axle and side rails ....
Assembling whole thing was not as much time consuming as I was expecting ..... but after buggy was complete I start playing with all adjustments to
get most comfortable position to my liking, 2h later I give up .... I know I will find my self changing those again after first ride .....
... Settings:
.. rear axle hight
.. space between side rails
.. down tube / fork angle
.. down tube length
.. front wheel position
.. foot pegs angle
.. foot strap hight
.. seat with 4 adjustment points
Also not sure if I have seen any buggy in person with 2 side rails sets .... top and bottom where lower one helps with stiffness...
Side plates are waiting for my US212 NAPKA number ... hopefully ready tomorrow ....
.... Now my biggest problem is transportation .... I knew all the measurements before buggy arrived and have few ideas for hitch mount , but after
I have seen it in person I think I need to find other option ..... My car is simply too small for mounting Supra on hitch .... As right now I am
planning to take my work van to WBB .
I know few is waiting to ride it at event .... but please keep all you foam cans 200' away from buggy.....
I will update this post later with photos of new plates and some more info .... Everyone who get chance to ride it please share you opinion here as
well ....

I bet shipping alone cost as much as some of the used PL buggies sold on here!
I guess looking at whole pic album the tires seem to be the Big foot slicks.
Still curious about weight...
You could get Buggy-jacked on the beach w/ a ride that nice. I would not slow down near anyone walking and flying a power kite looking around
calculatingly..
..On the other hand, that buggy is a chic magnet for women in bikinis-who may also be buggy-jackers......beware!
Nice design on the rear siderails.
Adjustable width all the way to the rear axle. Nice simple design. Basic, simple, shiny, great score.
Do you think you have room in the fork for a 4 inch wide wheel?
Add a set of sysmic wheels and dirtslide will want to buy it from you.

Looks like the axle bolts are offset, nice work.
It just keeps getting better each time I look at it.
Might have to work out the impossible and go to WW just to see the new bug.:D

I too like the rigidity of the siderails. That system to adjust the siderail width is really well thought out as well. You are going to have a lot
of fun in this buggy.
Jeff I can't see what you mean about the offset axle bolts.

My original choice was MG Aero and simply I got my $$ ready after Maarten announce that he will no longer make those .... So my choice was wait for
next MG design ( Simplex ) or upgrade to Supra ..... Did not notice Supra logo .... lol .... and I did own one for a year way back .... funny
....
.... I could not afford original wheels ( 8x8 with beach racers ) so I am adopting my Big Foot Lites and simply adding spacers / washers to fill
up gap on axle ... thats why you see offset bolts ... this was not done yet when pictures was taken .... and all bolts are not tighten yet ..
According to web site frame weight is 28kg and whole buggy 52kg ..... about 120lbs .....but because of its size its hard to pick it up alone ....
feels way heavier .... My hitch is rated for 200lbs , so it could work to get it on back on my HHR but front wheel will end up 8' above ground and
drag would create way more force on hitch mount then 200lbs ...
Siderail adjustment is brilliant ... I have set it as shown on pictures and will try other settings at WBB when riding ... Its a big change after
riding KiteTrike for so long ... feeling of being strapped to the buggy and surrounded with high rails is awkward at this moment ....
Jeff .... looks like you really want to come to WBB and looking for more excuses to do so .... Please come and ride with us .... I promise I will
be nicer to you this time ...

Jeff .... I promise I will be nicer to you this time ...
I promise not to pick on you about not knowing how to use handles or fly new kites you did figure out the new kites, right?
I will be back to WW but not this year, to many changes going on at the moment. With all the love and beach, who could ever NOT go back? Besides, I
like all foreigners, especially you East Coasters.

I'm not sure from what buggy you're coming from but that MG Supra has to be a big improvement from whatever you had before. Make sure you keep that
chrome well buffed. Nice curvy brace behind the seat!

I am really impressed with the siderail design. It is so simple of a design and multi adjustable from skinny to fat for the rider. Set it up and after
you loose 50 lbs, you adjust the siderail and it still fits like a glove. Boxing up the bug for shipping would be a lot easier also.
Nice bug

...... 5 days in Wildwood with Supra and I am more then happy ....
... Its hard to describe how nice it is to ride in it and look at it ..... lol ... and 5 days of wind let me ride in various conditions and
terrain ...
.. I need to adjust few things before heading out next time ... but first set up was almost perfect ...
I did quick edit from Bash with some Supra footage ....
