2014 Action cameras reviews ......

I was planning to upgrade my GoPro Hero HD to a bit newer camera and did some research ... I was always interested in Ion Air and that was my target when starting .... but sadly after reading few reviews I got disappointed .
Below I will add few links with camera info that I gather browsing the web ... At this point looks like GoPro is still number #1 and lots of good words about JVC that would be number #2 choice ....
Please feel free to add more links to this topic to help other decide on new cam .....

Depends on what your budget, final expectations, and durability/weatherproofing are, but on R/C Quad Copter Drones these HD Mobius cameras have quite a following.

with cables and an RF transmitter, you can remotely view live video too.

The Looxcie is one that has been a surprise quite a few times for me, and it is also wifi to your phone. My last one took a fall at IBB from about 3000 feet and still works. The video wasnt very spectacular but did make laugh for a while.
