Huge Mobile Ice Field

Just recently, (get a grasp of this scale) An iceberg 21 miles x 12 miles, and 200 foot thick, has broken loose from the Antarctic Ice field and is drifting into open water.

Thick about your daily commute or car trip to the next town.

12 x 21 MILES of floating ice.

Running the numbers at 12 x 21 miles x 200 foot thick, and assuming 1/4 cu foot of ice per blender, I calculated 5,884 Billion blenders of Pina coladas and/or Margaritas worth of ice.

you bring the mixer.

Sometime it's a curse being an engineer, who always needs to know these things...

Always wanted to kite on a ice berg. Think of how smooth that wind would be.;)

Factor in additional apparent wind caused by the movement of the iceberg in the ocean currents. ;)

Don't even want to think about how many jalapeņos those margaritas are going to require. :o
