Fall 2014 WBB Dates

Sorry, everyone, still playing catch up here at home.

The fall bash dates are going to be Oct 15th through Oct 19th 2014.

This bash will coincide with the 50's weekend at Wildwood so it will be much like last fall.

I am also working on a big fundraiser for the fall bash to benefit the American Cancer Society. All of us know someone that has been lost to cancer, or has cancer now. We have a couple of guys that attend the bash that suffer right now. I want to make this pretty big. I will need to get some ideas of raffle items, as well as doing a Buggy Mileathon. Where you would get a sponsor sheet, have people you know or don't know sponsor you for a certain amount per mile rode during your time spent at WBB based on your GPS readings you record. After the bash you would record your miles have them initialed by myself or an appointed person so that we can make sure everything is legit. I would have an account set up that you can send the collected money to. Then I would send the money to the American Cancer Society. I have already had some conversations with them and they will send people to the event and possibly have some t-shirts for sale to also help raise money. We will have a special shirt made up for the event. This is going to be a great thing and hopefully each fall we will pick a different organization to raise money for and do something similar each time. Why not buggy with a purpose right.

If you have any ideas or have a way to help out, please inbox me and send your idea.

Can't wait, it's going to be epic yet agin!

Just made reservations. My wife and two kids are coming this time.

Did you want me to talk to Ozone and Premier Kites for possible donations? I have been a retailer for them since 2001.

Does anyone bring a pet? Know of any pet friendly places to stay? The poodle isn't thrilled about kites but wouldn't mind hanging out and waiting for us to come back...

Yes it won't be long now! If you haven't booked a room yet, time to start calling. I still haven't got the price list from Maris, it's been very busy on both our ends.

Can't wait to see that smiling face Bruce.

Hook, the Shalimar does not accept pets in their place, but I think the one across the street does. I will get the info and post it up.

I'm finally booked and can't wait to be there!
Talking to the Shalimar, it seems that there are only nine rooms booked. WTF!
The crew on the left coast is going to be enjoying themselves at SOBB this coming week. We should be getting ready for (or at least excited about) WBB
Let's get it together friends; only 47 more days to :wee: See you soon!

The Shalimar has lots of kitchen units, but they do go quickly. Call and book as soon as you can - they only need a 1-night deposit.
