For Sale: PL Bullet Spreader bar

FOR SALE:

EDIT: Fender no longer for sale... Price drop on the Spreader Bar, see below.

I custom fabricated a front fender to fit my PL Comp XR front fork which I had mounted on my VTT Stinger-XR Hybrid buggy. I recently put bigger tires on the buggy and since I fabbed the fender to fit with Barrows, it won't work on the buggy now.

Anyhow, by now the paint is a little worn, but it is still in great shape and will fit a standard PL Comp XR front fork (which is also the same front fork as the PL folder) with a standard 4.5" Barrow wheel. All it needs is a little sanding on the rough spots and a fresh coat of paint in whatever color will match your preference.

Here it is disassembled:

Assembled:

And mounted:

Here is the thread I posted when I had completed it, if you're interested in how it was made:
http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=25616#pid24...

I will let it go for $50 (purchaser pays shipping). I'm hoping this is a fair price given the time and thought I put into it.

I can deliver to JIBE to save you shipping.

I also have a PL Bullet spreader bar, like so:
http://peterlynn.com/products/accessories/spreader-bars/bull...

I bought it (new from Big Mike) to try, used it once (flying static) and prefer the set-up I already had. So in essence it's BRAND NEW. $45 (NOW DROPPED TO $40) includes shipping in the US to the lower 48. Nothing wrong with it at all, I just prefer something else.

I will also deliver this to JIBE at $40 since shipping won't be necessary.

Of course email or U2U if interested (email linky button below)

I'm going to go ahead and bring these items to JIBE in case anyone there expresses an interested. I'll only be at the event for one day, but will be close by for the whole week. Just email or U2U me.

If you're interested in either item and won't be at JIBE, I won't be able to ship until 5/19 at the earliest.

After I'm back in town and can find the time, I'll sand the fender and all it's parts and re-prime them to be ready for whatever color you should choose.

Think it would fit a PL extra wide? I am getting a new fork soonish from Van, but the way you have designed the fender, it looks like you can fit it to almost any fork if you just modify the braces.

You're welcome to give it a try at JIBE, but the width of the actual fender is only 5.5" and the extra wide tires are 6.5" wide. I put an extra wide Nanco on the front of mine and it seems like its a slightly larger diameter overall which is why I didn't just buy a second fender and modify it to fit the bracket I made (the red part).

Like I said we can check it out at JIBE and see what you think.

I'm thinking there's not any interest in the front fender, so I'll just keep that.

Sorry Errol, we didn't get together and check it out at JIBE, but both of us were too busy having fun.

So I'll put it out there for the PL Bullet Spreader Bar, ... still for sale and I'll let it go for $40; which will include shipping in the US continental 48. This is a brand new bar used only once. For a frame of reference, most dealers will sell this for around $60 and charge you $12 shipping so you're saving $30+... Just sayin'.
