How does the 5m Apex compare to your 6m Access in terms of power, speed, lift, upwind ability, useable window, etc.?
Depower Quiver: 14m Gin Eskimo, 10m Gin Eskimo III, 6m Gin Yeti, 4.5m Gin Yeti (custom bridle and mixer)
Fixed Bridle Quiver: MAC Bego 400, JOJO ET Instinct 2.5 & 5.5, Lil Devil 1.5, Sting 1.2
Rides: Ground Industries

Excellent query BRoc. Fact is, I just purchased the 6m so I'm unable to reply with a solid answer. I would actually love to do a side by side to get
an objective comparison. Maybe if my offerings to Zephyros prove fruitful...I can do just that @ SOBB if it(the Apex) is still around. In such case, I
will gladly relay my findings.
I feel they are/will be fairly similar. What I can say from personal experience, is that I do prefer the steering characteristics of the access 8m
over that of the Apex(I know we're talking different kites w/ different wind ranges, but figure it's worth mentioning.) The Apex will definitely turn
faster of course, though the response of the Access feels more direct while requiring less exaggerated bar inputs.
Truth is, the main reason for the "swap"is quality of life factors and also I am looking for just a tick more power. It's nice to have the same flight
characteristics between kites, same bars, same safety etc. Speaking of which I much prefer the push away of the Apex, boggles my mind why Ozone didn't
change over until this year. But now I'm just rambling. :D

I paid more that this for my 3m apex and it needed a repair. He is practically giving this kite away. I agree with ABkayak on this. Excellent kite to
get experience. High wind kite forever...
