Wanted - Trim Straps or heavy duty strap adjusters
I am looking at making my own Turbo bar. I have most of what I need except for the trim straps. I am pretty handy with a sewing machine so I thought
about making my own. however I can't find a find a heavy duty strap adjuster that would hold up to the stress of flying a larger kite.
Any suggestions, ideas or maybe a turbo bar for a cheap price

Otherwise, if you need a local source, check your local REI/EMS. If they have an instore repair department, the should have a variety of webbing
material.

I looked at strap works but their metal adjusters had a review where they failed under about 65lbs of stress and they did not recommend their plastic
adjusters for the task seeing how they where not rated and are advertised as light duty

I have a hq trimmer strap and chickenloop laying around here. The chickenloop is the previous model that than they use now. Its like the one on a apex
III.
Both are new $35 shipped. Not sure if you want to spend that much on a diy project but maybe the easy convenience would be worth it?

Sorry.... I should have been clearer.... I was recommending strapworks for the straps.... not the hardware.
For the adjustment hardware, I would have suggested either OEM replacement parts or if you were inclined to DIY, something from the arborists,
climbing, sail catalogs that were weight rated.
Apologies for not reading your OP carefully enough.... still cooling down from baking doing yardwork.
Even the feral kits got some ice cubes in the FFS waterbowl.... I think Braveheart was confused by the ice cubes, but now I think he is going to give
himself a brain freeze.
