Buggy along the coast of Florida?

Hi,

I am planning a trip to Florida in the winter and was wondering if there are any spot where I could use my buggy along the coast?
Are there any great spot?

thanks

Seems to me Daytona on up past St. Augestine should all work. You can drive on the beaches so they must be O.K. I know Jupiter beach is Kitesurf central.

Daytona beaches are wide but crowded and as snowbird mentioned, there is auto traffic.

You might have seen a photo at high tide. Take a tide table with you . I'm in southeast Georgia, 30 mi north of the FL border and buggy on Jekyll Island Beach. It's an empty beach but narrow at high tide and only runs north-south. I live by the tides and (east) winds.

SteveP sounds like he has it good down in Clearwater with sucha big beach. I'm looking forward to checking it out. It's about 4.5 hours away for me.

hey guys
a friend of mine went to fla a few years back and took his gear with him.
he tired to buggy on daytona beach but got thrown off.
as the cop told him. daytona beach is a fla road with all road
laws in force. the cop almost locked him up for driving a vehcile without brakes, lights etc.

and if i remember right. dean had some problems too.
he told me a story of the cops chasing him down daytona beach with lights and sierns sreaming trying to catch him. seems like he was doing like 40mph and the cop car couldn`t keep up with him in the sand becasue he was fish tailing. dean told me the cop really tore him a new @#$hole.
he had to pack up and walk back to his starting point.

Not a good place to buggy. Heck you cant even throw a frisbee on the beach.
