Snowboard advice?

I've been kitesurfing for about 6 years but am a complete noob to snowboarding. I weight about 240 lbs and wear a size 12 shoe. I can't afford to get "great" or even "good" gear (too many sports already), just want a "basic" setup to get me started. I found some wide boards around 161-164cm for pretty cheap, but they're all "directional" with "radial cut hips" (like the Morrow Siphon Wide). I can get these with bindings and boots for about $200, which is about all I want to spend, but from what I've read this type of board is not recommended for kite-snowboarding. Any other suggestions?

$200 for a board and boots sounds good - got a link to the store?
