Peter Lynn Competition XR on ebay incase anyone is interested

http://www.ebay.com/itm/171406542620?_trksid=p2060778.m1438....

its a Peter Lynn Competition XR Buggy that looks to be in great shape. right now its going for 99 dollars with free shipping. I am not selling this so I know nothing beyond the details that are on eBay but I figured someone on here might think this is a good deal. I might even bid on it over the next few days.

That's an amazing price, great find! Biding price will probably go up though. My guess is between 150-200 which is still a great deal.

Cheers, Ari

I'll keep an eye on it too.. I might toss a bid that way given that it's free shipping! At the moment, I can't see myself getting into buggying, but I wouldn't mind having one for friends or kids who don't have board skills to try!

Is this a good basic buggy? I know nothing about them...

The XR+ would get my basic buggy recommendation. Beyond that you are looking at a custom, or possibly a libre. Both those options are $$ and are heavier and bigger. The XR+ fits that nice spot.

The retail on PL XR+ with standard wheels is now at 689.00 so if you can get an almost new buggy for anything up to 450.00 you are still saving a couple of hundred off the new list price. Some people will have gotten their buggies when prices were a bit lower but even at that it's still at a steal of a price right now at the current bid of 255.00 when i just checked.
