This years family vacation location was determined by driving distance; my wife didn’t want to fly, and I didn’t want to drive more than 8 hours. (OK,
it was more like 10.)
So… it turned out to be six days in Boston.
What a great city to spend time in and around. Lots to see. Great places to eat. A ball team that lost to the Jays just for us
(Fenway - what a great park!) And Nahant.
Buggydanny put out the word to the local group that we were coming to visit and those that could joined us for a couple of hours on the beach. Paul,
Brian, Peter and family, and even Dave “rocfighter” (who drove several hours to be there) welcomed us to a great evening. (Others weren’t able to make
it - sometimes life gets in the way of buggy time.) There was a board for Josh to use, a buggy for me, and Dan even gave my wife one of his famous
tandem rides to introduce her to the sport. :wee:
The wind was probably not “great” (by local standards), but it was good enough to have some great fun. As it got dark, the wind dropped and we all
enjoyed dinner together.
What a wonderful way to spend a day on vacation. Thank you from the hiaguy family.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!
