Winter is on the way!

The leaves are already beginning to change up here in northern Minnesota, getting excited for the winter snow kitting season. Only 3.5 months until the lakes are frozen, and yha Christmas is only a couple months away, working on my kite wish list!

I can't wait! My grandparents have a place on Candlewood Lake where there's too little wind to kiteboard, but apparently plenty to snowkite once it freezes over.

Water: 2013 Edge 7m, Cronix 12m, 2013 Flite 17m

I have kites for sale!

Leaves gone already. Yikes. Of course they are starting to change here in New York in spots. I've been doing some reading about this whole snow kiting thing and realized I have a couple perfect spots once they freeze over. Now back to reading.

Red October is currently baking her brain on the rear deck in full-on Serengetti mode.

We're losing some leaves....but gradually.

Winter might be coming, but not quite there yet.

Sam

We had our first beautiful September day yesterday. Sunny and mid 70's with cool temperatures in the morning and evening. It's the best time of year in the midwest. It really gets you in the football spirit.
