Its Monday morning again and the rush hour commute to work. This time I decided to leave the car at home and take a more eco friendly ride. Progress
was slow but steady. Unfortunately I did not get too far as the police pulled me over at the entrance to the Blackwall Tunnel.
Got me laughing :D Nice one. Did the officer laugh it off or give you a warning?
The copper climbed out of his patrol car, walked over to me and asked where have I just came from. I told him that I had just driven all the way from
Basingstoke. There was an awkward silence. He scratched his head and took a slow walk around the buggy and then had a long hard think to himself.
After a minute or so he said, how did you get all the way from Basingstoke, you have no engine.
Okay I must confess, I wish that were true. There was no copper. I was never pulled over. I made up the story to fit the traffic report on the radio.
