I have a PL comp xr+ and I recently purchased (and waiting for it to arrive)a splash guard. Description says, " there's a special place to connect under cushioned comp xr+ seats but looking at my seat I don't see anywhere this would connect. I'm thinking it probably connects by wrapping straps around back axle but not sure. Any insight would be appreciated.

doesnt go that far back...mine is looped thru a couple of the mid buckles...dont worry you will see

My XR seat had quick connect buckles that the splash guard attached to.

Yea, looking under my seat, I'm not seeing any buckles. I hope I have the the xr+ seat. It has a little bit of cushioning in it and two holes with metal grommets in them. I appreciate the help. Maybe if someone has a pic of it that would great.

i have this going around my existing buckles w/ a extension i came up with from an old bag or something...its not gonna plug in to something thats waiting there for it..i actually have a pic in my phone but need an email address

you have to pull the front end off to put it in place on the downtube...than you will find something to go around in the back..it doesnt need to be tight or anything just in place to keep stuff from flying up.....pic sent.

I think what's going on is the "old splash guard" was sold with shorter straps and buckles that would snap into clips on the bottom of seat on the comp xr. "New splash guard" sold has longer straps with no buckles that wrap around back axle that fit the comp XR+ buggies. Thanks for all the help and pics. Much appreciated. Happy buggying.
