Typical wind situation

See all that wind out in the panhandle? Situation happens all the time. The only place it's blowing. 4 hour drive out there. I've never been. I've scoured the 3 counties that make up the panhandle on google maps looking for public land and all I see is farmland and no place to ride.

Sounds familiar:( Almost all public land here is woods.....open flat land is privately owned by farmers. Water is the only good place to kite here.

Ditto. We used to have a good amount of open land to ride here but that access got screwed by a couple of less than considerate (to put it politely) kiters that moved to the area. I prefer lakes personally, I like room to ride and explore and there's none of that on the land based stuff we had before it got banned or on what's left. I'll ride on postage stamps sized patches of earth if I have to but I don't touch it if I can have miles of ice.

I would love to get back out on Michigan. Lots of space there. :D
