thats an awesome read- he certainly has a larger set then i do exceed 60mph on a folding bug- goes to show equipment matters but ultimately its the person that makes the most difference. One of these days i will break into the elusive 100kph club- thanks for sharing popeye

I'm with Scott. My hats off to anyone who shares our common history. These stories need to be told, so thank you for doing it!

This is a great read, seriously thank you for the write-up.. Ohh and those that missed it, I'll leave just this one bit:

"A lot of the run was done on 2 wheels."

+1 for style points Andew. In all seriousness, a lot of thought went into going this fast!

Yeah, Scott.... but your a member of the unofficial 2-3 stories-up club...:o

Residing in my area ( suburban Boston) is Paul L.(doublespeed360) who has gone 62.1 mph(out west), and holds the 8th fastest US resident on Popeye's list....just a whisker short of 100kph.

Paul also proves you don't have to be a young man to excel in this sport of ours and make such achievements.

I have to think that ejection or mishap at these highest speeds is very dangerous and injurious.
