White Lake never dried out completely in 2006.
But I like Misfits Flat in Stagecoach better. Misfits is owned by a landsailor and motor vehicles are kept off the playa. You'll need the combo for the gate.

Click here for a link to their regatta schedule and contact information. It too may be too wet right now. Best to check before venturing out there.

I believe White Lake is BLM property, so a use permit may be needed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

as far as I know you dont need a permit, no lock on the gate and there were about 10 other people out there.

May be blm property but no one seems to care, people drove right on to the lake with their trucks.
