Spent the entire afternoon on the buggy with this kite for the first time. 30mph right from the start. Kite totally cruised most of the day between 26mph and 30mph. I was absolutely lit and booking.

Interesting detail about this kite: This is the only kite I have that when I spin it; I can do so in a propeller fashion.

Kite never once overflew the edge, never luffed, and never bow tied. Flies real nice and handles well. Also sits on the ground parked good(doesn't hop around or try and fly away) and has good brake control for landing and launching.

Before I had this kite; I would have either spent the day on the 1.7 Sting and may have been underpowered a lot of the time, or got out the 2m Octane and maybe(probably) would have been overpowered.

The 1.7 Sting would have came out had it been windier. I use the small Sting when it's blowing in the 30mph range and gusting to 40mph and beyond.

On the Flexifoil page; the prices listed show Tax/VAT in them. Once you add the item to the cart and select your location; the price drops by a good amount. And the shipping is now not $100+ like it was not to long ago. The price it is now is likely because it's like 2 day shipping(pretty good considering the distance).

So if you get high winds, and your usual kite(2m?) is too much sometimes, a 1.7 Sting or a 1.8m Rage are great kites.

My experience too. The 1.8 really does well in 25-30.
