The original NS3 thread was getting a little long and off-topic so I thought I'd start a fresh one with the video review.
After spending a lot of time with the NS3 at Kingston, I can say it feels a bit faster, goes upwind a little better, feels smoother and even more
direct and responsive than the NS2's. Not a big difference, mind you, but an overall refinement in all areas. I was certainly surprised when I
looked at the GPS after my first downwind run and thought it was several Kph faster than I had assumed it would be. Ended up with a 56.7 kph in what
I thought was moderate conditions (16 knots cross onshore at 35-40 degrees). Although I did better that the next day with the NS2 2.5 but that was in
ideal conditions on the claypan (58kph). I'm sure I would have cracked 60 with the NS3 had I had a 2.5.
Aspect ratio is just a tad wider than my NS2.
All in all, a darn good little kite. Anywhoo, enough of my ramblings, a pics worth a 1000 words....
Awesome video John. I love these kites!!! I can't wait until spring vacation and send them down a 3+ mile beach!
Thank you for your influence the past several months for helping me make up my mind on my quiver shift. I've never felt more comfortable with my
nerves hooking into these kites.
Thank you too Sean for all your input as well.
