Jeff had a killer solo day up in the Colorado Mountains and took some pretty awesome video of it (I had the damn flu, so now I can just watch the
video and be jealous). Anyway, I always wondered what it would be like to fly a sub-6m Depower LEI and here's some great footage of that.
It was an awesome day up there! For my level of comfort I'd say that the 4.5 RPM was the perfect kite when the ground blizzards started. I don't
really jump so knowing I could do crazy loops even at speed without getting airborne was probably good practice to eventually get there.
WOW! 343mph, I'd say that puts you firmly into the 100kph club. :D hehe! 45mph is pretty fast on snow!!
As I live in the UK, I kinda appreciate the road trip footage at the beginning of your video. I wish more of you guys in the US and around the world
would show us your wild scenery on your way to your favorite spot as I find it interesting.
Ha - I looked first to my odometer and saw the 100+ miles and thought it seemed unlikely....then the 343 caught my eye.
With the latest storm my guess is that Rabbit Ears will be butter smooth for a few days; I doubt I'll be able to resist its call I put the drive bit and setup to not have the entire thing be kiting. My vids almost
never are watchable from the helmet - I look all over the darned place too much

Ok Redsky, I'll try that next time, but all you see on the way to my spot are houses, businesses, followed by the occasional McDonalds and gas
stations, and finally followed by corn and bean fields.

Thanks! Actually I'd like to see the houses, businesses and gas stations too.
Was really fun - had an amazing day same spot Monday as well. Almost always windy up there and deep snow (finally!). The RPM is a trip for sure. In
the 4.5 it is absurd in a good way
