Calling all SOCAL/Los Angeles flyers!

Anyone out there?! Anyone know any secret spots i don't know about? Just moved here and i'm having trouble finding a good local spot to fly in!

Gonna try seal beach soon, and me and Matthew have been up to some fields in Oxnard which would probably be decent with a nice wind

Really wanna take a trip to Pismo Beach sometime soon as well! Anyone up for that?! :singing::singing:

domdino - are you that crazy guy I read about who biked across the US with a mountainboard and kite (Frenzy) attached to the back rack?

If so, nice work!

Dom,

I am in the southern California area. I too would like to have a place to go. Where in Oxnard did you find a place?

I've been there with windwizard where he flies. Mostly they fly stunt kites. He helped me get started.

Let me know if you know of a spot.

Was thinking of going up to Oxnard tomorrow, weather permitting.

hello mate,
Think i might goto oxnard tommorrow as well, yeah weather permitting... was at santa monica today, good wind surprised i didn't see anyone else up there but there were way too many people and the wind was a bit, funky...
This is what the oxnard field looks like:

Be nice to get a decent landboarding session in! Let's hope the wind is good!
If you PM me your number i'll give you a call tommorrow when i'm heading out, or we can just meet there. Matt Lavin might come as well if i can get hold of him... Anyway... the field is here:

I have seen that field I think. What street is it on? I have a MB Board that I have yet to get the courage and lesson on how to do it. I have a buggy that I have done at El Mirage. It would be nice to see someone doing the board to get an idea of how it is done.

I'll PM you. I am going to be in Santa Monica in the morning and then head out to Oxnard. Usually the wind is up around 12 - 1 in the afternoon right?
